1Who is eligible to attend?
Participants aged 25 to 45 from anywhere in the world are welcome to join. Please note that parents and friends are not permitted. (We do not cover visas, travel documents, or travel expenses.)

Are all attendees coming solely from Germany, or will participants be joining from other European countries as well?

No, this event is open to anyone interested in attending in person. We have candidates who have traveled from various countries, including Germany, France, Italy, the UK, and the Scandinavian nations..

Do I need to attend both days of the event?

We recognize that juggling work and travel schedules can be challenging, but we strongly encourage you to attend both days to maximize your experience at the event. Each day is designed uniquely, allowing participants to connect with others in an organized yet enjoyable and relaxed setting. By attending both days, you'll gain a deeper insight and more chances to engage with the candidates. Please note that access to materials or information about the other candidates will only be available upon your arrival and check-in.


What is the typical age of the candidates

The average age fluctuates based on enrolment. We strive to maintain a balanced enrolment across all age groups.


How many candidates are there, and what is the male-to-female ratio?

We aim to keep our event to around 150 participants and will strive for a balanced 1:1 ratio of men to women. The total number of candidates may fluctuate.

5Dress-code

Friday: Casual is okay but remember that you will be making your first impression

Saturday Daytime: Business casual

Saturday Evening: Dress to impress/cocktail attire. The Saturday evening attire for ladies can be both Indian or Western. We have seen female candidates wear Sarees, Chania choli’s, Indian gowns as well as Western formal dresses. Wear any formal dress you are comfortable with. Regarding men, we have normally seen suits or shirts with tie. Some come in Indian formal attire and some wear Indian coatee/jacket to create east-west fusion attire.

(No shorts and flip flops allowed on Saturday)

What is the interactive HMUSA App and when will I get it?

After registering, you will receive a link along with a unique password to download and access the HMUSA app. This app allows you to upload photos and share information about yourself, enabling potential soulmates of the opposite gender to learn about you and "search" for you. Once you arrive at the venue and check in at the registration desk, the app's interactive features will be activated. You will also be able to view information about candidates of the opposite gender who have arrived at the event, allowing you to get to know them better. Please make sure to upload as much information and photos as you wish to share with candidates both before and during the event.

What is the cost of registration and deadline to register?

Registration fee can be paid online

Registration Costs and Deadlines:
Special Discounted Fee: €135 until April 30, 2025
Early Bird Fee: €150 from May 1 to May 31, 2025
Standard Fee: €175 from June 1 to June 30, 2025
Last-Minute Fee: €200 from July 1 to July 6, 2025
Walk-in Fee: €225 from July 7 to July 11, 2025 (subject to availability)
The fees include admission, meals for two days, and refreshments.


What does the registration fee include?

The fee covers a light dinner on Friday, along with breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages on Saturday.

Is my registration fee refundable?

A full refund of 100% is available for cancellations made at least 45 days before the event. A 50% refund applies for cancellations between 30- and 45-days prior. No refunds are issued for cancellations after this period..


How can I cancel and ask for a refund?

Please send us an email with your registration ID and contact information.

Do you provide transportation?

The venue is conveniently accessible via public transportation.

How does Hinduism factor into the process?

Individuals who identify as Hindu, Jain, or Sikh are invited to register for the event. There will be no religious activities taking place during the program. You do not need to be a devout practitioner of any of these faiths, as long as you believe in and identify with one of these three traditions.


Will there be a book of all participating candidates?

No, the entire event will feature a live interactive app experience that allows attendees to view details of participants of the opposite gender. Attendee data will be accessible from Friday evening onwards, following the registration process.


Do I have to attend the event for access to candidate Info? Can I send someone in my place?

Participation is required to access the app and obtain any candidate information. You are not allowed to send a parent, sibling, friend, or anyone else on your behalf. To take part in the event, you must present a current government-issued photo ID that matches the registrant's details.


Can parents/friends come with me?

No event has been organized for parents, and they will not have access to the event venue. We aim for candidates to interact one-on-one without any reservations. Parents are welcome to explore nearby temples, restaurants, and various other tourist attractions.

10 Health and Safety

We are committed to the health and safety of all participants and team members. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable matrimonial event. Candidates should attest that they meet pandemic related requirements.

We are a non-profit charitable organization entirely operated by volunteers committed to providing year-round service to the community. The registration fee covers venue rental, furniture and equipment, decorations, DJ services, as well as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments.
